About Essie Wilson
Essie Wilson was born to perform! She began dancing at age three! By the ripe age of seven, she was performing regularly in a children’s musical theater company, and at thirteen landed a spot in Philadelphia’s esteemed High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) with a double major in Theater and Dance. After graduation, Essie attended Montclair State University, studying both theater and dance. While still a student, she taught musical theater, ballet, and jazz in a private studio just outside Manhattan. Essie has worked for The Walt Disney Corporation, was a regular performer in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day
